Casey’s celebrated the first day of spring (and what it said is also storm chasing season) by partnering with “Weather Women: Into the Bear’s Cage,” a “cinematic storm chasing documentary” by Paradeigm Films, according to a press release.

Casey’s said the series follows renowned storm chasers as they capture the 2025 storm season in real-time, offering viewers an unprecedented look at the power of nature.

“At Casey’s, we know it’s not crazy to chase your dreams—and storms—and these amazing women are proof that when an opportunity arises, you got to chase it. We’re here to fuel the adventure of storm chasing season across Casey’s Country,” said Katie Petru, director, PR and communications, Casey’s.

The retailer also recently donated $10,000 to The Dream Team, a public service project that provides youths from challenging backgrounds a chance to ride the Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa and earn a bike. It costs $5,100 a year to prepare each member.

Casey's surprised the team with the donation at the end of the team’s appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, reported the Des Moines Register.

"We're hoping other companies, other bike teams, other organizations follow Casey's lead,” said executive director Scott Matter.

Earlier this month, Casey’s announced the financial results for the three and nine months ended January 31, 2025.

For its Q3, “net income and diluted EPS were approximately flat while EBITDA was up compared to the same period a year ago. EBITDA was up primarily due to higher inside and fuel gross profit, partially offset by higher operating expenses from operating 254 additional stores, as well as one-time Fikes deal and integration costs of approximately $13 million,” reported Casey’s.
