Wawa will open its first Indianapolis location next month, while Korean chain CU sets sights on U.S.

Wawa will open its first location in Indianapolis on July 10, reported local outlet Fox 59. The store will be at 3835 E. 96th Street on the city’s north side.

“The Indianapolis location will be the first Wawa to open in Marion County. The store is the fourth of eight Wawa stores slated to open in Indiana by the end of 2025, with new locations also coming to Brownsburg, Cumberland, Plainfield and Westfield,” wrote Fox.

“We are grateful to the Indiana community for embracing us with open wings when we opened our first three stores in May,” said Wawa President Brian Schaller. “We are excited to continue to serve the Indiana community with our first store in the City of Indianapolis.”

Meanwhile, Asia retailer CU plans to open in Hawaii this year. “CU carries popular Korean national brands, as well as private-label items, in everything from viral Korean beverages and snacks to cosmetics and household items,” reported Hawaiian news outlet Hawaii News Now. It will be the first CU location in America.

Per the outlet, customers can also grab hot meals, a variety of gimbap (Korean rice roll), new flavors of musubi, bento and sandwich options and customizable drinks.

Maverik opened a new location this month in New Mexico, according to a LinkedIn post.

“We’re excited to announce the grand opening of our newest Maverik store at 2121 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Fuel up, grab your favorite snacks, and experience the adventure with our fresh food, drinks and legendary service,” the retailer said.

Terrible’s posted on LinkedIn that it recently opened its doors in North Las Vegas. Meanwhile, Five Star opened a new store in Bradenburg, Kentucky, the retailer announced via a LinkedIn post.
