Global Partners unveiled its latest public charging locations in New Hampshire, according to a press release.

The company installed three chargers at a Jiffy Mart and three at an Alltown Market. “These additions enhance the diverse fueling options at Global’s fueling stations and convenience markets and represent the third and fourth company-owned EV fast-charging station, following successful launches in Worcester, Massachusetts, and Fort Edward, New York,” Global Partners said.

“We’re committed to providing best-in-class fueling options for all of our guests, both today and tomorrow, and we are thrilled to bring this technology to [the cities of] Lancaster and Peterborough,” said James Cater, Global Partners senior director of sustainability strategy and innovation. “These public fast-charging stations are not only a convenient solution for electric vehicle owners, but they also promote sustainable transportation options.”

Global Partners said it is committed to enhancing EV charging accessibility across multiple states. Global plans to expand its network by adding more locations by the end of the year.

According to the press release, Global was awarded almost half a million dollars in funding through the New Hampshire Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust DCFC Infrastructure program. This program, run by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES), provided the financing to offset up to 80% of the cost affiliated with installing the charging stations.

Earlier this week, BP and TravelCenters of America (TA), part of the BP portfolio, celebrated the opening of an electric vehicle charging hub at a TA site in Jacksonville, Florida, expanding BP’s network of EV chargers in the United States. The charging site is the first of at least 40 set to open at TA locations across the country.
