LV Petroleum (LVP) has expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of two travel centers in Missouri, according to Downstream Energy Group (DEG), which served as the exclusive M&A advisor on the deal.

The Las Vegas-based company purchased the two properties from Wilmouth Oil Co. LLC. “This strategic acquisition is a transformative step for LVP as we continue to deliver on our promise to provide exceptional service and innovative solutions to travelers. These travel centers represent key hubs for convenience and connectivity, and we are excited to integrate them into our network,” said Quyntyn Johnson, president of LV Petroleum.

The acquisition includes:

  • Ozarks Travel Center (Mt. Vernon): A full-service TA-branded travel center with 225 truck parking spots, nine diesel lanes, three truck service bays, six showers, three food concepts (Wendy’s, Subway and a BBQ food concept) and 26 gas MPDs (multi-product dispensers).
  • TA Strafford (Strafford): Another full-service TA-branded travel center offering 130 truck parking spots, eight diesel lanes, two truck service bays, eight showers, two food concepts (Taco Bell and Subway) and four gas MPDs.

With this purchase, LVP now operates 30 travel centers, has six large-format new-to-industry travel centers under development, and maintains a growth pipeline of single-site acquisitions. According to a 2023 NACS Magazine profile, the Ozarks Travel Center features a custom food offering, which includes items like sliced brisket sandwiches and pulled pork sold by the pound.
