In honor of Heart Health Month, Alltown Fresh is launching a two-month campaign through February 28 to fight heart disease and benefit local children’s hospitals, the retailer said in a press release.
Alltown Fresh locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut and New York will offer a Breakfast Power Bowl, with a portion of sales going to a regional hospital in each state where Alltown Fresh operates. The Breakfast Power Bowl features scrambled cage-free eggs, greens, farro, marinated roasted red peppers, chickpeas and avocado.
“At Alltown Fresh, we’re committed to delivering fresh, nutritious meals that not only fuel our guests but also give back to the communities we serve,” said Laura Derba, global partners LP senior vice president of retail operations. “Heart Health Month is a meaningful opportunity to bring attention to the importance of cardiovascular health and extend our support to local hospitals making a difference in children’s lives.”
Through its Mirabito Cares program, Mirabito Convenience Stores sponsored the inaugural Mirabito Coaches vs. Cancer Basketball Tournament in Binghamton, New York, over the holidays to support the American Cancer Society.

The Spinks Family Foundation, the charitable arm of The Spinx Company, recently awarded a $10,000 grant to the South Carolina Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics in Hartsville, South Carolina, according to The Greenville Journal. The grant will create scholarships for rising sixth through 10th graders attending the school’s 2025 GoSciTech Summer Camps.
