Celsius launched its first flavor of 2025, sparkling strawberry passionfruit. The energy drink flavor is now available nationwide at major in-store and online retailers, Celsius said in an email statement.
Celsius noted that sparkling strawberry passionfruit “combines the essence of summertime strawberry flavors and delicious passionfruit flavors to create a dynamic taste experience. For those of us facing brutal winter weather, this is a warm weather flavor escape. Every sip is a luscious mix of sweet strawberry and passionfruit flavors, resulting in an ideal, refreshing mix.”
Zoa Energy “is taking two fan favorite flavors with limited footprints national: its wildly popular mango splash and green apple. Both flavors will be available at select retailers nationwide, as well as online,” Zoa said in a press release.
Zoa describes mango splash as the juicy flavor of a ripe mango, fused with light tropical notes and a creamy mango finish. The flavor first launched exclusively with 7-Eleven.
“Starting this month, mango splash will be available at retailers including QuikTrip, HEB, select Kroger divisions and online at Amazon with more on the way,” according to Zoa.
Green apple will now be available at QuikTrip and Hy-Vee, with more to follow.
"Non-alcoholic beverages and Zoa in particular are key to the future for Molson Coors and we are thrilled to offer these flavors more widely," said Kevin Nitz, vice president, non-alcoholic beverages at Molson Coors Beverage Company.
Red Bull Energy Drink kicked off 2025 by unveiling the all-new Red Bull Zero in the United States. “Featuring monk fruit extract, other sweeteners and zero sugar, this latest addition to the Red Bull lineup offers a distinct and exciting taste,” Beverage Industry reported.
Red Bull Zero “stands apart from Red Bull Sugarfree, offering a vibrant and balanced taste that combines notes of pineapple, vanilla and tutti frutti, with a pleasant sourness,” the company explains, according to the outlet.
In other recent energy drink news, in November 2024 Celsius Holdings Inc., maker of Celsius, acquired Big Beverages Contract Manufacturing for $75 million. The transaction was completed using cash on hand and closed on November 1, 2024.
Celsius said the transaction included a 170,000-square-foot manufacturing and warehouse facility that is “expected to provide greater supply chain control, quicker innovation cycles and greater production flexibility.”
