The LTO has a ‘zesty, smooth and creamy’ profile flavor.

Coca‑Cola has launched its new orange cream and Coca‑Cola zero sugar orange cream sodas, according to a press release. Coca-Cola describes the flavor as a “timeless, deliciously refreshing taste of Coca‑Cola with a burst of the zesty-yet-smooth combo of orange and rich, creamy vanilla flavors.” The soda hit shelves last week in the United States and Canada and will be available through early 2026.

“Orange cream is one of many throwback flavors making a comeback thanks to growing demand among Millennials and Gen Z-ers for fun, unexpected tastes and sensory experiences,” said the company.

“Coca‑Cola orange cream will appeal to variety seekers looking to mix up their routines, find joy in trying new things and discover their next favorite beverage,” said Sue Lynne Cha, VP of marketing, North America, Coca‑Cola Trademark. “We’re constantly on the lookout for trending flavors while staying true to the essence of Coca‑Cola.”

Making the flavor a limited time offer is an “intentional move to continually refresh the Coca‑Cola Trademark flavor portfolio based on evolving consumer preferences,” the company said. In addition to 12 oz and 7.5 oz cans, multipacks and 20 oz single-serve bottles, Coca-Cola said both varieties will be available exclusively at Wendy’s on Coca‑Cola Freestyle fountain machines.

Coca‑Cola orange cream launches on the heels of Coca‑Cola orange vanilla, which ran from 2019 through 2022 but was discontinued. Cha said the new innovation’s flavor profile has a “zestier, smoother and creamier” profile—and a bolder expression of the classic Coca‑Cola taste, which should appeal to fans of its predecessor.

Coca-Cola showcased the new flavor at the 2024 NACS Show in Las Vegas, along with Sprite + Tea and Powerade Xtra sour. In the January 2025 issue of NACS Magazine, NACS predicted that the pendulum of what consumers are looking for will swing toward nostalgia, warmth, safety and old standbys.
