Earlier this month, Wawa marked a major milestone with the opening of its 1,000th location that sells fuel. The new store is located in Springfield, Pennsylvania, and is the company’s second store in the Delaware County township, according to a report from MSN.

At the grand opening of the 1000th location, Wawa’s mascot Wally Goose was joined by the Philadelphia Eagles mascot Swoop, plus Eagles cheerleaders and the team's drumline. The ceremony also featured a charity check presentation to the Eagles Autism Foundation and Philabundance.

The first 250 customers at the new location received a free limited-edition t-shirt, according to the report.

Meanwhile, Yatco recently opened a new store in Webster, Massachusetts, marking the company’s sixth new location in 2025, according to a LinkedIn post from the company.

The new store features 10 Gulf branded fueling positions with diesel, hot foodservice and grab-and-go, a dispensed beverage bar and a Dunkin’.

Over at Refuel Operating Company, the retailer recently opened a new location in Austin, Texas, marking “another proud step in growing our presence in the Austin area, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our community,” the company said in a LinkedIn post.

Love’s this month finished a remodel of its location in Claude, Texas, adding renovated restrooms, an updated Subway and a new store design to the location. As part of the grand reopening, Love’s said it will donate $5,000 to the Harrington Cancer and Health Foundation through the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
