North Carolina-based Minuteman Food Mart is celebrating back-to-school season by showing appreciation for teachers and administrators with a free breakfast biscuit this week at participating locations, the retailer said in a press release sent to NACS.
Minuteman Food Mart said the free breakfast biscuit offer is available exclusively to Minuteman Rewards members with valid school credentials.
“Teachers and administrators are working daily to shape the future of America, and we want to help be a refreshing, fast and friendly part of their routine,” said Ed Bitondo, vice president, convenience store operations.
The celebration will continue throughout the month with additional promotions in partnership with Core Water, Recover 180 and Bucked Up Energy, per the press release.
The retailer said customers are encouraged to download the Minuteman Rewards app or follow Minuteman Food Mart on social media for updates and exclusive offers tied to the back-to-school celebration.
Meanwhile at Circle K, the retailer is giving Inner Circle rewards members 40 cents off per gallon of fuel on Thursday, August 21, from 6 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time at more than 4,000 stores across 22 states, the retailer said in a press release sent to NACS.
“The back-to-school season is exciting, but it can also bring extra financial strain, which is why it’s the right time for us to bring back Fuel Day for our valued customers, new and existing,” said Louise Warner, executive vice president of operations, North America, for Circle K. “We want to be a trusted member of the communities we serve, so we are pleased to make it a little easier for families with great savings all day at the pump as well as the everyday value of Inner Circle.”
