QuikTrip recently opened its first location in Indiana—a new travel center in Daleville at 15101 W. Commerce Rd., located along Interstate 69 at Exit 234, according to a press release. With this location, QuikTrip said it now operates more than 1,100 stores in 20 states.

Members of the Daleville Town Council and other community leaders cut the ribbon at the new location and Indiana Secretary of Business Affairs Mike Speedy visited the store for a preview last week ahead of opening day.

“We are excited to bring QuikTrip’s signature commitment to quality and efficient service to the great state of Indiana,” said QuikTrip Corporate Communications Manager Aisha Jefferson. “Our travel center will offer a clean and friendly stop for the residents of Daleville and the many travelers in the area, and the QuikTrip team is working hard to ensure our customers enjoy best-in-class service and amenities from day one.”

QuikTrip said it donates 5% of its annual net profits to charitable organizations. Among the organizations QT supports are United Way, Safe Place, local food banks, schools and Folds of Honor.

Last month, QuikTrip celebrated National Safe Place Week by continuing its support of the National Safe Place Network. QuikTrip has served as a Safe Place partner across its network of 1,100 stores nationwide for over 30 years.

Safe Place is a national youth outreach program for young people in need of immediate help and safety from situations such as abuse or neglect, homelessness, trafficking or unsafe family conflicts. Safe Place locations, identifiable by the distinctive yellow and black sign, provide access to immediate help and supportive resources for youth in need. The program designates schools, fire stations, libraries and other youth-friendly organizations including convenience stores as Safe Place locations.
