Phillips 66 will expand its brand licensing offering—Phillips 66, Conoco and 76 brands—to new regions, including the upper Midwest and the Northeast. The company stated that the 15-state expansion “represents the company’s commitment to growth, strengthening its network and delivering unparalleled offerings designed to drive traffic and enhance operational efficiency for retail gas station licensees.”
“The expansion of our brand licensing offering helps usher in an era of growth and opportunity for our branded network,” said Ryan Ebright, manager, branded sales, Phillips 66. “Expanding the offering presents a tremendous opportunity to leverage the brand power of Phillips 66, Conoco and 76 throughout the United States. We look forward to introducing our brands to new communities and building lasting relationships.”
Phillips 66 will provide brand licensing opportunities across the upper Midwest and Northeast United States in Connecticut, Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia and Wisconsin. With over 1,400 licensing sites already in its network, Phillips 66 continues “to support and advance business growth.”
“Our brands hold strong, nationwide brand recognition that helps build consumer loyalty and drive traffic to sites,” said Ebright. “By leveraging our expertise, resources and customer support, our brand licensing is designed to drive growth and success for our licensees.”
In May, Phillips 66 announced it was open to selling more than 1,000 JET brand retail sites in Europe.
