Cubby’s is celebrating National Truck Driver Appreciation Week from September 15-22.

“There are more than 3.6 million professional truck drivers across the United States. More than 80% of communities in the U.S. rely exclusively on truck drivers to deliver essential items including food, clothing, medicine, household items and more,” Cubby’s said.

Cubby’s said it “makes an effort to provide specific amenities for truck drivers, ranging from showers and dining spaces to parking areas and conveniences at the pumps.”

In recognition of truck drivers, Cubby’s is offering daily and grand prize winnings to rewards members throughout the week. Truck drivers are entered into the drawings with every fuel purchase.

RaceTrac is also joining the celebration with an assortment of deals throughout the month of September. The deals update each week, with freebies including a Nathan’s hot dog, a pizza slice, a breakfast sandwich and a cheeseburger for drivers.

Other retailers are also highlighting professional drivers this week. Circle K Pro fleet card customers can send a free snack or beverage to the truck drivers in their life to say “thank you” for being an essential worker in the industry.
