Wawa opened the doors to its first Georgia store on November 14, with plans to open two more locations in the state before the end of 2024. The stores will be located in Bainbridge, Brunswick and Jesup.

“It’s official—Wawa is opening our doors to serve our newest friends and neighbors in Georgia!” said Brian Schaller, president of Wawa. “We are thrilled to open three stores this year to bring our investment in Georgia to life. … Over the next few years, we will be continuing to expand and invest in the region as we build new stores and connect with new customers in more Georgia communities.”

Wawa stated that in 2025, the company will open five to six additional stores in Hinesville, Pooler, Waycross, Valdosta and Albany. Over the next five to eight years, Wawa plans to build and open more than 26 stores in Georgia, at the pace of around three to four stores per year.

Earlier this month, a new Poppy Market opened in Adelanto, California. The new store is 5,057 square feet and is located at Adelanto Place, a 56,000-square-foot neighborhood center on US Highway 395.

RaceTrac opened its newest travel center in Punta Gorda, Florida. The 8,000-square-foot store also marks a milestone for the company—it is RaceTrac’s 250th store in the state. The store features an outside dining area and a drive-thru.

In Jasper, Missouri, Love’s Travel Stops opened a new travel stop—its second in southwest Missouri this year, the company said, following the opening of a store in Sarcoxie in June. The Jasper travel stop is a part of Love’s RV network with five RV hookups and an additional four RV parking spaces. The location also has space allocated for EV chargers, with plans to partner with local utility companies to install EV charging stations should there be customer demand.

Huck’s opened its newest store in Paducah, Kentucky, earlier this week. Nouria also opened a new location in Bridgton, Maine.
