TravelCenters of America was recognized as a top workplace in Northeast Ohio by Cleveland.com and the Plain Dealer for the third consecutive year.
The honor comes from an employee survey conducted by Energage, which measures employee satisfaction and the drivers that achieve high employee retention, including strong organizational values, a clear and promising direction, clued-in leaders, meaningful work and reward and recognition.
More than 820 TA team members participated in the survey and only 221 companies were selected for the title.
In addition to the Top Workplaces in Northeast Ohio recognition, TA was recently nominated for Women in Trucking’s “Top Companies for Women to Work in Transportation.”
The Spinx Company announced on LinkedIn that Great Place to Work has certified Spinx as one of the best places to work in the United States for July 2024 to July 2025.
Additionally, QuickChek has been named one of the “Best Places to Work in New Jersey” and one of the “Best Companies to Work for in New York” for 2024.
It is the 12th time Whitehouse Station, New Jersey-based QuickChek has been named to the annual list compiled by the NJBIZ business journal and 11th time the retailer has been selected by The New York State Society for Human Resources Management, Best Companies Group and the Rochester Business Journal, earning the rare distinction of being named one of the best employers in both New Jersey and New York.
Honorees are determined by their own employees, who recognize employers that show a dedication to their employees’ growth, quality of life and overall satisfaction.
Earlier this year, Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. won the 2024 Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award (GEWA) for the third year in a row, the Wills Group received Great Place to Work certification for its third consecutive year and Global Partners was named to Fortune Magazine’s 2024 list of the World’s Most Admired Companies, ranking 7th in the Diversified Wholesalers category.
