7-Eleven is giving away a free small Slurpee to customers again this year to celebrate its birthday, July 11. 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members can also enter for the chance to win free Slurpee drinks for a whole year by buying participating products like CELSIUS energy drinks and more.
And in celebration of its birthday, 7-Eleven released a limited-time Birthday Collection capsule, exclusively on 7Collection, the retailer’s online merchandise shop. The capsule features a variety of custom merch and party supplies.
This year marks the 97th year of 7-Eleven, and the retailer designed a Slurpee cup in collaboration with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH). The cup features a drawing by seven-year-old Nolan and is meant to bring awareness to the work 7-Eleven continues to do with the charity.
7-Eleven recently raised more than $3 million for the CMNH network through their 33rd annual Miracle Tournament and Celebration Dinner.
Away from the mainland, 7-Eleven Hawaii’s 46th anniversary is on Thursday, July 11. Customers who stop in store between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. will also receive a free small Slurpee.
Other incentives for Hawaii locations include a free limited-edition tote bag with any purchase (aside from gas). The store is also running a promotion on their spam musubi for the day, which is available for $1.49.
7-Eleven Hawaii also announced the pilot for its new mobile app. With the app, customers will receive exclusive deals, rewards, mobile checkout and mobile pickup and delivery. Additionally, 7Rewards will be available at all 67 Hawaii stores by August 1.
Last summer, 7-Eleven Hawaii donated over $20,000 to the Salvation Army and American Red Cross to aid in assistance during the Maui wildfires.
