Starting this month, Copa di Vino single-serve wine will be available in all 115 Terrible’s convenience stores in the greater Las Vegas area, the Splash Beverage Group announced. This expansion will offer four of Copa di Vino’s varietals for Terrible’s customers.

Bill Meissner, Splash president and CMO, added, “Terrible’s is a great retailer, synonymous with convenience in the exploding Las Vegas market.”

With more stores stocking wine and operator interest in the category on the rise, the wine segment is well positioned to capitalize on current trends and become a bigger contributor to c-store profitability, as reported in NACS Magazine.

According to the NACS State of the Industry Report® of 2022 Data, wine averaged $1,331 in sales per store, per month last year, an increase of 11.1% from the previous year. In addition, varietal wines account for the largest share of category sales—42% in 2022.

Robert Nistico, CEO of Splash, said, “This is a great retailer win, now made possible by the company’s ardent focus on building a distribution network capable of reaching these key chains which supports our strategic direction.”

Splash Beverage Group is a portfolio company of beverage brands, including SALT Naturally Flavored Tequila, Copa di Vino Single Serve Wines, Pulploloco Sangria and TapouT Cognitive Energy Drink.
