Rutter’s Breaks Ground in New State

Rutter’s broke ground on its first Virginia location this week. Rutter’s said the new 13,500-square-foot store will be located at the intersection of Route 50 and Covestone Drive in Winchester. The company “expects to open this new location in the middle of 2025, in conjunction with the development by The Meridian Group in the area,” said Rutter’s.

“We’re extremely excited to open our first Virginia store in Winchester,” said Chris Hartman, vice president of fuels, advertising and development at Rutter’s. “Our whole team looks forward to serving the local community with our best-in-class Rutter’s experience.”

The new Rutter’s will offer “many auto-fueling options, along with commercial fueling and be open 24 hours a day.”

Love’s Travel Stops recently opened three new Speedco facilities, rebuilt an older Love’s Truck Care shop into a full-service Speedco and expanded its truck wash network to 11 locations in nine states, according to a press release.

The new and remodeled locations can be found next to Love’s stores in:

  • Benson, Arizona (rebuilt and expanded)
  • West Memphis, Arkansas (new truck wash)
  • Wichita, Kansas (new Speedco with truck wash)
  • North Lima, Ohio (new)
  • Baker City, Oregon (new)
  • Troy, Texas (new truck wash)

According to Love’s, these locations add 11 truck service bays, six service trucks and five truck wash bays to Love’s network.

Parker’s Kitchen celebrated two new locations, one in Evans, Georgia and the other in Beaufort, South Carolina. Parker’s Kitchen has opened thirteen new stores in 2024.
