Love’s Travel Stops opened two new stores last week—one in Alabama and the other in Wyoming—which are the company’s 19th and fifth stores in the states respectively, according to a press release.
The Cullman, Alabama travel stop is more than 15,000 square feet, and is Love’s third location along I-65 between Birmingham and Nashville. It includes 82 truck parking spaces, Love’s Fresh Kitchen, McDonald’s and Subway.
The Buffalo store is nearly 11,500 square feet and is Love’s first in northern Wyoming. The company said it is a “strategic stop” near the junction of Interstates 90 and 25. This travel stop includes 64 truck parking spaces, Love’s Fresh Kitchen and an Arby’s.
Both locations “have space for EV chargers allocated to be able to quickly partner with local utility companies and install EV charging stations should there be customer demand.”
QuickChek recently opened its second Phillipsburg, New Jersey location. The New Jersey-based chain will open another store at 720 NJ Route 35 in Neptune Township soon after. Customers who sign up for QC Rewards during each store’s first week of operation will receive one free coffee per day for seven days, QuickChek said in an email statement.
“These two new locations demonstrate QuickChek’s commitment to growth and engagement in these areas. It allows us to serve busy customers through the holidays, when convenience is a gift, and beyond,” said Blake Segal, SVP and head of QuickChek.
QuickChek kicked off its grand opening with a ribbon cutting, featuring Phillipsburg’s Mayor Randy Piazza, Jr. and New Jersey State Senator Doug Steinhardt. The company made a $1,500 donation to the Garnet Booster Club, “which supports all 27 athletic teams at Phillipsburg High School.”
