National Coffee Day is on September 29, and c-stores around the country are beginning to promote special deals to celebrate. Additionally, International Coffee Day follows shortly after on October 1, leading some convenience store retailers to extend their promotions.

Circle K is brewing free coffee for a week in order to celebrate the two days. From Sept. 25 to Oct. 2, customers can get one free cup of coffee, any size, in store with the Circle K app. The offer is valid for one free coffee during this period.

“We are passionate about the quality coffee we offer at Circle K and know our loyal customers like celebrating specialty days like National and International Coffee Day,” said Jeff Lohnes, head of global beverage products at Circle K. “Coffee plays an essential role in people's daily lives, so we’re making it easier for customers to get a great cup for free.”  

Maverik – Adventure’s First Stop announced that on Sept. 29, Nitro Card and Adventure Club members will receive exclusive offers on coffee purchases. 

Adventure Club loyalty members will receive 50% off one cup of Maverik’s bean-to-cup coffee. Upgraded Nitro cardholders are offered one complimentary cup.

Royal Farms is also celebrating National Coffee Day this year. On Sept. 29, the retailer is giving RoFo Rewards members one free any size coffee, hot or iced, in their account.

“We are excited to celebrate National Coffee Day with our customers and offer them a free cup of the ‘World’s Freshest Coffee’” said Shelby Kemp, rewards program manager at Royal Farms. Royal Farms recently announced the return of pumpkin flavors in its coffee program, including pumpkin spice coffee “made with real pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.”
