Buc-ee’s Announces Springfield, Missouri, Opening Date

Other c-stores around the country celebrate grand openings.

Buc-ee’s announced that its Springfield, Missouri, location on I-44 will officially open on December 11. The store will open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that will include Springfield Mayor Ken McClure and Springfield Councilman Abe McGull. The 53,000-square-foot location will offer 120 fueling pumps.

Love’s Travel Stops opened new locations in Shreveport, Louisiana, and Herculaneum, Missouri, earlier this month. The locations are open 24/7 and offer bean-to-cup gourmet coffee and Love’s Mobile to Go Zone.

Royal Farms continues its expansion into Virginia with its announcement of stores opening this November in Suffolk and Abingdon. The Suffolk location will open on November 20 and feature 12 fuel pumps. The Abingdon store will open on November 30 and feature 16 fuel pumps, including an ethanol free pump, as well as a carwash. Both will be open 24/7.

Alltown Fresh opened in Moreu, New York, marking its 16th location. The new site features a made-to-order kitchen, a better-for-you marketplace, indoor and outdoor seating, curbside pickup and free Wi-Fi.

QuickChek celebrated Halloween with the opening of a new 5,670-square-foot store in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. Amenities include an open floor plan with standalone food displays, wide aisles, no-fee ATMs, indoor seating for 10 people and outdoor seating for eight. The location has 12 fueling positions and three parking spaces for oversized vehicles.

In Illinois, Thorntons opened a new location in New Lenox. This is the company’s 71st store in the Chicagoland area and its 91st store in the state.

Stewart’s Shops is bringing a brand-new store to West Oneota, New York. This is the company’s second store in the town. According to the company, the development of this location was unique because it involved constructing a new road connecting NYS Route 205 and NYS Route 7.
