Jacksons Food Stores Enters Washington Tri-Cities Area

The Spinx Company, Enmarket, TA and Stewart’s Shops also announce new locations.

Jacksons Food Stores is entering Tri-Cities, Washington, as it takes over operations at five store locations. The stores are located in Richland, Kennewick and Burbank, Washington. The stores were transferred as part of a larger acquisition between PacWest Energy LLC with Jackson Energy and Sun Pacific Energy, Inc. Sun Pacific’s convenience stores and other wholesale energy operations are being taken over by PacWest and Jackson Energy.

“Our team, from the folks who brew your coffee to our leadership, believes we have an obligation to make every place we’re lucky enough to do business in a better place to live for all its residents,” said Cory Jackson, Jacksons Food Stores president. “We’re looking forward to supporting the Tri-Cities area however we can.”

The Spinx Company is expanding its presence in South Carolina’s Greenville County with its most recent store opening. The brand-new, full-service storefront will serve fried chicken, chicken biscuits and chicken tenders. Customers can enjoy ice-cold fountain drinks with Spinx's "chewy ice.” Hot beverages, including bean-to-cup fresh coffee, will also be available for purchase.

In the Skidaway Island area of Georgia, Enmarket and Bethesda Academy are opening a new Enmarket store and a Bethesda Welcome Center. Officials say the location will offer convenience items, including fresh food, beverages and fuel. The Bethesda Welcome Center will be located adjacent to the store and will provide visitors with information about the school’s history, programs and admissions process. The location will begin development in early 2024.

TravelCenters of America opened two new TA Express locations in North Dakota. Both locations offer fueling, convenience items, dining options and other services for professional drivers and motorists. The openings increase the total number of travel centers in the TA network to 296.  

In Frankfort, New York, Stewart’s Shops opened a new 4,000-square-foot store. The location will offer pizza and an expanded food-to-go lineup, including empanadas and crispy chicken sandwiches. An expanded fuel island is expected to open by the first of the year.
