Schneider National Inc., the Green Bay, Wisconsin-based transportation and logistics company, announced it has acquired M&M Transport Services LLC, based in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

The acquisition puts Schneider on a path toward $1.5 billion in annual dedicated contract revenues, the company said, and 6,500 dedicated tractors in service. M&M Transport will now operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Schneider.

“Now, as a wholly owned subsidiary of Schneider, M&M Transport will continue to leverage our strengths while capitalizing on Schneider’s broad capabilities and resources to support continued growth and the consistent, reliable service that our customers expect,” said M&M Transport founder Mark Warsofsky.

M&M Transport’s assets include 500 trucks and 1,900 trailers across 12 locations in the Northeast, Midwest and Southwest.

“By combining our respective expertise, knowledge and resources, we will be better positioned to meet the evolving needs of our customers and expand our reach in the dedicated market,” said Mark Rourke, president and CEO of Schneider.

Schneider has been in business for 88 years and reported nearly $6.6 billion in annual operating revenue in 2022.

NACS Daily reported that the trucking industry moves 72% of goods in America, and the industry grew more than 20% last year due to a surge in demand for goods caused by the pandemic, according to a White House 2022 fact sheet.

Recently, the 99-year-old, Nashville, Tenn- based Yellow Trucking Company faced struggles and stopped operations earlier this week.
