In a recent press release, Love’s Travel Stops announced they are now serving customers in Cañon City, Colorado, and Cotulla, Texas, with new locations now open. The location in Cañon City adds 80 jobs and 54 truck parking spaces to Fremont County. In Cotulla, the truck stop will add 75 jobs and 97 truck parking spaces to La Salle County.

The Cañon City location will be more than 13,000 square feet and have six diesel bays, a CAT scale, five showers and laundry facilities for visitors to use. The Cotulla location will be larger, with more than 19,500 square feet, nine diesel bays, a CAT scale, eight showers and laundry facilities.

Both Travel Stops are open 24/7 and offer gourmet coffee, brand-name snacks and Love’s Mobile to Go Zone.

Additionally, the Cañon City location will include five RV parking spaces on site. In September, a nearby Love’s RV Stop will open as well. The RV Stop will have 125 parking spaces. Each site will have full utility hookups, including 30/50 amp power, water and RV dump.

Sheetz has also announced two new locations that will open next week. August 28, Sheetz will open a new location in Pennsylvania’s Susquehanna Valley. And, following last year’s announcement to open 20 stores in Dayton, Ohio, the convenience store retailer is opening the first store ahead of schedule on Tuesday, August 29.
