LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Thorntons has announced the opening of a new Indianapolis store. The company now operates a total of 11 stores in the Indianapolis area.

This new pump-and-go location is a 4,400-square-foot store, sitting on 3.66 acres. Amenities include self-checkout; LED lighting; freshly made burritos and sandwiches prepared throughout the day in the store’s onsite kitchen; a variety of top-of-the-line beverages, including fresh bean-to-cup coffee and ice-cold fountain beverages with nugget ice and 16 auto fueling positions and three diesel lanes.

The new store opens today, April 7, and Thorntons will host a grand opening celebration from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. During this time and while supplies last, customers who enter the new store will receive a Thorntons gift card which they can immediately scan at the register to determine the value. One customer will win a $1,000 gift card. There will also be music, games and additional giveaways during the celebration.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:00 a.m., Thorntons leadership will present Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana with a $2,500 donation. This contribution is in honor of the new store opening and is part of Thorntons’ ongoing commitment to help feed the hungry in all of the communities it operates.
