ALEXANDRIA, Va.—A NACS Industry Update Luncheon that was scheduled to take place in Dallas, Texas, on February 16, has been rescheduled. The event will now take place on February 17 in San Antonio during the Texas Fuel & Food Association Winter Fuel & Convenience Summit. Attendees must register for the summit to attend the free NACS luncheon.
Each year, NACS President and CEO Henry Armour travels around the U.S. to discuss insights, issues and opportunities that are relevant to the convenience and fuel industry. The luncheons bring together regional convenience and fuel retail and supplier leaders to exchange ideas and hear industry performance trends and metrics in a casual setting.
Attendees gain insight and knowledge on the current NACS State of the Industry Report and CSX data relevant to the region and the state where the luncheon is happening, important legislative and regulatory issues currently facing the industry, as well as timely and relevant topics from within and outside the industry.
Retailers and fuel jobbers regardless of their NACS membership status are invited to attend. NACS Hunter Club member companies can send up to two individuals per event as space allows. Guests enjoy casual networking time, followed by a seated lunch and a 60- to 75-minute interactive presentation and discussion delivered by Armour, who encourages the group to ask him questions.
Since the program's inception in 2007, IULs have been held in 90 host cities in 46 host states. More than 5,300 individuals representing 49 states have attended these luncheons.
If you have questions regarding the scheduled luncheons or are interested in having an Industry Update Luncheon in your city, please contact Eboni Russell, NACS state association manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
