ALEXANDRIA, Va.—Conexxus will present a webinar, “A C-Store Operator's Journey to CCPA Compliance,” Thursday, Feb. 24, at 12 p.m. ET.

Privacy has become a top concern among consumers, lawmakers, businesses and regulators, but the road to protecting consumer rights can be tricky to navigate. The driving force behind much of the discussion is California’s Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), which took effect January 1, 2020.

Sanjit Bajimay, IT director from Loop Neighborhood Markets, which is a medium-size convenience and fuel operator in California, will discuss Loop's journey to CCPA compliance. Learn about Bajimay’s experience through all steps of the CCPA project, from engaging legal counsel and defining requirements to updating digital assets and updating vendor contracts. The webinar is a great way to learn about best practices to becoming CCPA compliant from an operator’s viewpoint.

Alan Thiemann, Conexxus general counsel, and Daniel Kahan of W. Capra will also answer questions on data privacy during the webinar.

(For more on CCPA, read the NACS Magazine article “Pulling Back the Curtain on Privacy.”)

The webinar is free for Conexxus365 subscribers. If you’re not a subscriber, you can sign up for the Conexus free content plan or purchase a Conexxus365 subscription for $9.95/month. Register today.
