7-Eleven Westlake Grand Opening

WESTLAKE, Fla.—A new concept 7-Eleven franchise store has opened by The Chaudhary Petroleum Group in Westlake, Fla., in Palm Beach County, the city’s first new retail development since incorporating in 2016, according to a news release.

“I am incredibly pleased to welcome this prototype 7-Eleven store to the innovative city of Westlake,” said the city’s vice mayor JohnPaul O’Connor. “We are honored they chose us as their newest home.”

The convenience store/gas station was developed by Chaudhary Petroleum Group in cooperation with 7-Eleven as a new concept in Florida. Features of the store include the Fusion Fresh quick-serve restaurant, wine cellar, nitro cold-brew and iced-tea bar, among others. The store was designed with a wood-grain texture on the exterior, bright and colorful light designs on the ceiling and high-definition video screens in high-traffic areas. The store will be open 24 hours a day with 24/7 delivery service available.

The Fusion Fresh restaurant offers a made-to-order menu served throughout the day.  Breakfast items include hot oatmeal bowls with fresh fruit, breakfast sandwiches, quesadillas and burritos made with real eggs, bacon and sausage. Lunch and dinner items include fresh chicken dishes, hamburgers and sandwiches. Customers order directly from a digital pad at the counter and have the option of eating outside on a patio or taking their food to go. Hours are 6 a.m. – 7 p.m.

The store also features a walk-in beer cooler and a wine cellar, which offers a variety of wines from different regions and price points. There is also a coffee bar with flavored coffees and espresso, as well as a nitro cold-brew and iced-tea bar.

“We are very excited to finally be open and serving the families in and around Westlake,” said Binod Chaudhary, CEO of Chaudhary Petroleum Group.  “We love being part of this new and growing city.” The Chaudhary Petroleum Group owns and operates other 7-Eleven stores throughout South Florida, including one in nearby Loxahatchee.

Through a partnership with the Lotus Group, Chaudhary Petroleum Group said it is actively seeking to develop 20 of the new concept 7-Eleven stores over the next five years.
