ALEXANDRIA, Va.—Did you know that NACS offers online, self-paced courses on category management as part of its NACS Category Management curriculum? The curriculum includes three modules tailored to the needs of convenience retailers and supply partners. Topics include assortment analysis, space management and understanding shopper behavior. The course benefits all roles and responsibilities in the convenience channel including category managers for both retailers and suppliers, supply chain managers, merchandisers, planogram advisers and marketing executives.

If you’d rather earn your certification at a rapid pace, NACS is offering an in-person advanced category management pre-conference workshop at the 2021 NACS Show. NACS knows that being away from your business is a huge investment of your time and money, so be sure to grow your investment by getting the most out of the Show. The information you gather at the NACS Show doesn’t begin when the doors to the expo and education sessions open. NACS is offering a pre-conference workshop on category management the morning of October 5.

At the Advanced Category Management Certification Workshop, you can earn the NACS Certified Convenience Advanced Category Management Certification (CCACM) by completing a hands-on education session. Comprised of key strategic planning and analytical skill-building programs, the six-hour interactive workshop is tailored for experienced category management and merchandising professionals from retailers and suppliers in the convenience and fuel retailing channel.

Drawing on the fundamentals included in the online NACS Certified Convenience Category Manager Course, this in-person workshop will incorporate industry data and offer collaborative work sessions designed for maximum learning and retention. Upon completion, each participant will earn a CCACM certificate from NACS and Impact 21.

Completion of the online NACS Certified Convenience Category Manager course prior to this event is strongly encouraged since the pre-conference advanced program is designed for participants who already understand basic category management principles.

The NACS Show pre-conference workshop is limited to 50 participants and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration for the pre-conference workshop can be done as an add-on when you register for the NACS Show. Spaces are filling up, so book your spot today!
