SAN FRANCISCO—Instacart and 7-Eleven have expanded their collaboration to deliver from nearly 6,000 locations, reaching nearly 60 million U.S. households.

Consumers can choose from thousands of products from 7-Eleven, including pantry staples, household items, alcohol, snacks and over-the-counter medication to be delivered from the store to their door. 7-Eleven delivery via Instacart is now available in 33 states and Washington D.C.

Customers in California, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Missouri, New York, Ohio and Washington D.C. have access to alcohol delivery from 7-Eleven stores in as fast as 30 minutes. The companies plan to scale alcohol delivery to more states and stores during the coming months.

“Sometimes people need a full fridge and pantry restock, and other times they just need a few things quickly like some snacks for the kids, a bottle of wine for dinner or over-the-counter medication to nurse a headache,” said Chris Rogers, vice president of retail at Instacart.

“[W]e’ve seen customer demand for convenience retailers increase over the last year, with convenience orders on Instacart up by more than 350% since last August,” Rogers added.

Esquire reported that a new concept store by 7-Eleven Philippines, called 7-Eleven x Heineken, opened last week in the heart of Tomas Morato, Quezon City. The store features a convenience store on the first level and a bar area on the second level, where customers can enjoy a beer and snacks. The interior is decked out with Heineken branding.
