Japan’s 7-Eleven Stores Offer Mario-Themed Menu
Nintendo celebrates 35 years of the Super Mario Brothers.

TOKYO—It’s been 35 years since the Super Mario Brothers made their debut, and now Nintendo and 7-Eleven Japan are celebrating the event with a LTO menu of snacks and sweets, based on the classic computer game, plus a raffle for prizes that gamers will love.
According to NintendoLife.com, 7-Eleven stores are offering the Mario Mixed Roll, a roll packed with Neapolitan mushroom pasta and egg salad; the Bowser Fire Breathing Super Spicy Karaage Roll, a tasty fried chicken roll; a Fire Flower Fiery Curry Steamed Bun, a nikuman bun (similar to a Chinese steamed bun) stuffed with red curry; Super Star Pineapple Milk Jelly, a star-shaped milk jelly with pineapple sauce; Yoshi Green Melon Bread, a green bun filled with melon and whipped cream, and the Princess Peach Dolce, a double-layered cheese and strawberry sweet cup.
In addition to the food offerings, a special raffle for limited-edition Mario merchandise will be held for 7-Eleven Japan customers during the month of February.
