Convenience retailers are celebrating all month long with festive promos, LTOs and donations.

Sheetz Holiday Doughnut Beer

ALEXANDRIA, Va.—Convenience retailers are spreading holiday cheer by offering festive promos and offerings.

Rutter’s is partnering with Slushed to bring frozen hot chocolate spiked slushies to customers throughout the winter months. The slushies are 8% ABV with sweet notes of marshmallow and cocoa flavors. The slushies are available now at Rutter’s 45 beer locations in Pennsylvania and will be served through January 2022 or while supplies last.

All Rutter’s Spiked Slushies flavors are available in 20-ounce individual cups, as well as 64-ounce and 128-ounce Party Bags. Sheetz is bringing back its holiday limited-edition beer Project Happy Hole-idayz, a golden pale ale brewed with one pound per barrel of the company's Shweetz Glazed Vanilla Donut holes. The beer is brewed in partnership with Asheville, North Carolina-based Wicked Weed Brewing Co. and comes in four-packs of 16-ounce cans that retail for $7.99. The beer will be available at 261 Sheetz locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina and Virginia while supplies last. Sheetz also is bringing back its holiday coffee program all December long. My Sheetz’s Rewards members can grab a free cup of coffee or Cup’occino each week from Dec. 3 to Jan. 6, 2022. Every Friday, a free self-serve coffee or Cup’occino will be added to customers’ My Sheetz Rewards account, and it is be redeemable for one week.

QuikTrip (QT) announced the return of its campaign JollyTown, a mobile app contest filled with free gifts for customers who use the app. For every new purchase made through the QT mobile app during the promotion, customers will receive a digital gift to open. Gifts include items such as a roller grill item, donut, QuikShake, self-serve coffee, pizza by the slice, freshly made pretzels from QT Kitchens and even free drinks for a year. Customers have seven days to redeem their winning digital gifts from the time they receive them in the mobile app. There is no limit on the number of mobile app orders that can receive a digital gift.

GetGo Café + Market is spreading holiday cheer by raising $10,000 for the U.S. Marine Corps annual Toys for Tots holiday campaign through the sale of GetGo’s tots. For the second year in a row, GetGo donated a portion of the proceeds from any order of tots during November to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots.
