Stinker, Liquid Barcodes Gamify Loyalty

The Idaho-based convenience chain’s app allows customers to earn rewards via new games every week.

ALEXANDRIA, Va.—Stinker is rolling out a new app-based rewards and gamification loyalty program to engage customers who earn digital stamps each time they buy coffee, donuts, fountain drinks or energy drinks at one of the chain’s 103 convenience stores across Idaho, Colorado and Wyoming.

Stinker turned to Liquid Barcodes Inc. to help design the frictionless program which enables rewards members scan just once at checkout to pay and enjoy the program benefits and rewards. Liquid Barcodes, which is based in Norway with U.S. operations in Virginia, is a leading global subscription and loyalty platform dedicated to convenience stores, fuel retailers, car wash operators and quick-service restaurants.

The new Stinker loyalty app also includes exclusive discount coupons for members and games that change every week, giving users new chances to play and win. The program also rewards new members instantly for signing up, and when they refer the program to their friends and family.
