October 14, 2020

ALEXANDRIA, Va.—The NACS Crack the Code Experience will feature more than 50 content-rich education sessions loaded with insights and innovation that pay off today, tomorrow and far into the future. Explore topics ranging from cannabis to food trends to delivery during the five-week digital experience and curated marketplace, November 2 through December 4, 2020.

Large or small, one store or 500+, c-store operators of all sizes can find relevant solutions via the NACS Crack the Code Experience. From strategy and market analysis, building social media buzz to data security, operators can increase growth and sales in any geographic location.

In Age Verification in the Digital Age, live on November 2, Gray Taylor, executive director of Conexxus, will walk you through what the next level of age verification looks like, and the opportunities that come along with it. Convenience store cashiers check 4.5 million IDs a day—that’s twice as many as airport security. Join this session to learn how our industry can use digital identity to ensure we’re able to maintain high standards of age verification.

In Navigating the Current Labor Landscape, live on November 16, Chris McKinney, director of human resources for Victory Marketing; Amanda Norred, HR manager for St. Romain Oil Company; and David Massey, senior director of talent acquisition and workforce management for 7-Eleven, discuss how to pivot your hiring strategy to align with current demand. The world is a different place than it was at the start of 2020. As in previous recessions, unemployment is a hard-hitting reality of the pandemic. But what are job seekers looking for when returning to work?

Each Crack the Code Experience education session will be available in three ways:

LIVE—The session will launch for the first time. Speakers will be on deck to answer questions during and after the presentation through the chat function.

ENCORE—Sessions will be played identically as they were when launched LIVE, at a second scheduled time, except speakers will not be present to answer questions. The benefit of this format is that numerous persons will be experiencing the content together synchronously, with the ability to chat.

ON DEMAND—Within a week of the LIVE and ENCORE sessions, session recordings will be made available to all attendees to view any time they like. Access to these recordings will last through the end of 2020.

The NACS Crack the Code Experience is a five-week digital experience and curated marketplace connecting convenience retail buyers and sellers from around the globe. Running November 2 through December 4, 2020, it will feature 24/7 access to forward-looking ideas and insights, plus innovative new-to-channel products and strategic connections.
