Cool New Products: Foodservice
NACS State of the Industry data tell us that foodservice represents more than 25% of inside sales for convenience stores. But sales in 2020 have been affected by the extra precautions that retailers have taken to decrease the risk of potential contamination by removing self-service options for roller grills, bakery cases and cold, frozen and hot dispensed beverages.
These days, the million-dollar question seems to be what’s next for foodservice. Phrases like “back to normal” grate like fingernails on the chalkboard. And while we don’t have a crystal ball to give us all the answers, these new products might help you future-proof your business.
