ALEXANDRIA, Va.—On-site learning followed by a six-month project—that’s the secret for success at the NACS Leadership for Success program. The 2020 program—made possible through an endowment by The Hershey Company—kicks off with a six-day on-site learning program April 19-24 in Richmond, Virginia.
“Those going through this program have the immediate opportunity to put into practice what they learn on-site, making it so much more valuable,” said Erin Pressley, vice president of Education & Media at NACS. “Then the culmination of all their hard work is presented to their peers at the NACS Show, October 11-14 in Las Vegas.”
The program is designed for busy, rising leaders in the convenience and fuel retailing industry to help them discover personal strengths they can use to accelerate their career while creating a profitable, positive and performance-driven environment within their company. The NACS Leadership for Success provides on-site classroom instruction, then gives participants six months to apply in the real world what they’ve learned.
“This program is more than just head knowledge—it has a very practical application piece as well,” Pressley said. “The opportunity to showcase their work in front of other industry professionals is invaluable.”
Registration for the NACS Leadership for Success program is now open.
