PHOENIX—Arizona residents can now renew their vehicle registration through CheckFreePay from Fiserv, KVOA-TV reports. The Arizona Motor Vehicle Division has partnered with the payment system to allow for renewals at more than 500 convenience stores and grocers with the service.
“We’re constantly looking for solutions that give customers more options to complete transactions with MVD at their convenience,” said MVD Director Eric Jorgensen. “CheckFreePay is another convenient, easy way to renew a registration that some customers will appreciate.”
CheckFreePay lets customers pay cash to process their vehicle registration renewal. Walmart locations will begin processing registrations early next year. Customers need the last two numbers of the vehicle’s VIN and record number to finalize the renewal.
Residents can find CheckFreePay locations accepting vehicle registration renewals online. Each transaction will be assessed a $3 convenience fee.
