ALEXANDRIA, Va.—NACS is taking its Executive Education programs online in light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. “Taking care of our global convenience community is at the center of everything we do,” said Erin Pressley, NACS vice president of education and media. “That’s why we, along with input with our university partners, made the responsible decision to shift our 2020 Executive Education programs online.”
The NACS Executive Leadership Program will now begin October 27 and run through November 12 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. NACS worked closely with Cornell University to re-adjust the original curriculum to take advantage of the unique benefits provided by virtual learning, namely the real-time ability to integrate learnings into the attendee workplace. The self-assessments and one-on-one coaching—unique to the Cornell program—remain unchanged.
“The course was amazing, from start to finish. The content is top notch! The Cornell faculty did an amazing job keeping all participants fully engaged—which is not an easy task given our fast-paced and ever-changing landscape,” said past attendee Matthew Solly, fuel operations director for Circle K Stores Inc.
The NACS Executive Leadership Program gives participants the leadership skills needed to successfully rise to the challenges of a competitive marketplace, providing opportunities to supplement experience with formalized instruction on skills needed to drive long-term organizational performance.
Attendees will learn how to reflect on and refine their leadership skills as well as prepare for the demands of key company roles. Participants will also have access to 360-degree feedback assessments and individual coaching while engaging in group case studies that build a network of peers to help address tomorrow’s business challenges.
“It was one of the most educational trainings I’ve ever had,” said Kerstin Meier, head of key account management for Lekkerland SE & Co. KG. “Meeting so many people from the industry, from across the globe, made the experience truly unique!”
The NACS Executive Leadership Program is endowed by RAI Trade Marketing Services Company. To take advantage of the program’s new, discounted cost—$2,995—click here.
