How C-Stores Are Pivoting Because of COVID-19

New Convenience Matters podcast looks at what NACS members are saying about their business operations.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—NACS members say they are literally reconstructing their business models that have been perfected over the past half century and have pivoted from a focus on immediate consumption to take-home consumption.

In the latest Convenience Matters podcast, “Retailers Weigh In on the New Normal,” co-hosts Jeff Lenard and Carolyn Schnare examine the results of a new NACS retailer member survey released on April 1, sharing top-level findings and diving in deeper to discuss specifics on how retailers are pivoting, looking at operations, products, employees, community engagement and communications.

They also answered listener questions that were posted on the Convenience Matters website, where listeners can click on the “Send a voice message” function on the bottom left to leave ideas for future topics and/or questions.
