PLANO, Texas—Pizza Hut will add more locations to its beer delivery program by January, just in time for Super Bowl LIV, the Motley Fool reports. The chain began a pilot program two years ago in Arizona and increased that to 300 units across seven states this year. Early next year, beer delivery will be available at a 1,000 of the 7,500 U.S. Pizza Huts.

Many locations already hold liquor licenses for on-premises dining, so adding beer delivery wasn’t complicated. Beer available for delivery includes Anheuser-Busch InBev brands, Molson Coors MillerCoors and local craft brews.

“When we look at the amount of new customers and incremental sales from beer delivery sales, we can say all have grown at a significant rate. It's a huge initiative for us,” said Wanda Williams, vice president of operations for Pizza Hut.

Thus far, 22 states allow delivery of beer. The pizza chain is also working to convert many of its restaurants with dining rooms into carryout/delivery-only formats, with 500 remodels happening during the next two years.
