WESTLAKE, Ohio—TravelCenters of America and IHOP have joined forces to provide road warriors with fuel and pancakes all in one place, according to Nation’s Restaurant News. Over the next five years, TravelCenters will open 94 restaurants at the company’s existing fuel stops across 44 states. Those brands include TA, Petro Stopping Centers and TA Express.
“The TA brand, a trusted hospitality leader in the industry… shares the same values as IHOP when it comes to delivering an outstanding experience to guests on-the-go,” said Jay Johns, IHOP president. “We’re looking forward to serving the great-tasting, freshly made menu items we’re known for at breakfast, lunch and dinner to the millions of guests who stop at TA and Petro locations each year.”
IHOP is not new to the Westlake, Ohio operator. TravelCenters currently has four IHOP restaurants at TA and Petro branded locations in Greenville, Tennessee; Lexington, Virginia; Oakley, Kansas; and Jackson, Georgia.
This new arrangement comes as IHOP steps up growth. Currently, TravelCenters of America locations are home to quick-service and full-service dining brands ranging from Arby’s, Subway and Bob Evans Farms to Fuddruckers, Dunkin’, Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and Burger King.
