Dog Dons Wawa Hoagie Halloween Costume

PHILADELPHIA—Halloween is the ideal time to put on a costume … and dress up the family fur baby at the same time. A Philadelphia pet-sitting service sponsored a costume contest where Miles, a cocky Corgi, received extra attention when his pet parent, Paul Watcko 36, of Conshohocken, Pa., dressed him up as a Wawa Shorti.

His hoagie outfit came complete with a taped-on ticket, just like packaging from the regional c-store chain. According to the Phillyvoice.com, Miles’ post on the Philadelphia subreddit garnered more than 3,000 Reddit upvotes from area pet and hoagie lovers.
