Sheetz Celebrates Store Opening With Giveaway

Fans at the 600th store opening could receive a $2,500 “Sheetz for a Year” gift card.

SHALER TOWNSHIP, Penn.—To celebrate the opening of its 600th location, Sheetz gave away a ton of freebies, reports. All locations offered 600 free loyalty points to any customer who placed an online order on December 19.

The new Shaler Township store had even more goodies, including free self-serve coffee and fountain soft drinks for a limited time. But the real draw was gift cards, including two $1,000 Sheetz gift cards and a “Sheetz for a Year” $2,500 Sheetz gift card.

Customers who attended the grand opening were encouraged to bring nonperishable food items for Bread of Life Pantry, which helps to supply the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Sheetz donated $2,500 to Bread of Life and $2,500 to the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania as part of the grand opening celebrations.

Sheetz also recently announced its expansion in Ohio. In addition, the chain recently added Beyond Burgers to its foodservice menus.
