Wait List for Coca-Cola Subscription Service
In just three hours, insiders snatched up the 1,000 available memberships to try new flavors.

ATLANTA—Coca-Cola North America Monday launched the Coca-Cola Insiders Club offering a limited number of fans the chance to be the first to taste some 20-plus new beverages the company plans to release in early 2020. The six-month membership spots sold out in three hours, so the soft-drink giant’s new subscription service now has a wait list.
Subscribers in the first offering will receive a monthly shipment of three category-spanning beverages—from AHA flavored sparkling water to Coke Energy—plus swag. Subscribers can select from two payment options for the six-month membership: $10 per month or $50 prepaid (one month free). Fans who missed out can sign up online to be notified when more subscription spots open up.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to see how quickly the spots went, which shows just how passionate consumers are about our brands and innovations,” Alex Powell, digital experiences manager, Coca-Cola North America, said in a press release. “It proves there is an opportunity to scale the concept and allow more people to participate.”
Coca-Cola said the Insiders Club service was inspired by the growth of other subscription services like meal kits and beauty boxes.
“People want choice, convenience and customization,” said McCrea O’Haire, digital experiences manager, Coca-Cola North America. “The Insiders Club will allow us to showcase the diversity of the drinks we offer and get some of our newest innovations into the hands of fans who want to be among the first to enjoy them.”
