Chester's Chicken recently introduced Nashville Hot Chicken as a limited-time menu item now through September 15, the brand said in a press release sent to NACS. Chester’s said the Nashville Hot Chicken is available in sandwiches, wings and bites. “Each offering is coated in Sauce Craft Nashville Hot Sauce, featuring notes of smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, brown sugar and garlic,” the company said.

"Chester's core purpose is to deliver delicious food in surprising places,” said Chief Executive Officer Wynn Giles. “Nashville Hot Chicken is no different—it offers premium quality, bold flavor and the kind of memorable experience that keeps guests coming back. And the timing couldn't be better for summer travelers looking for the perfect road trip fuel."

Meanwhile at Tyson Foods, the company said it is expanding its poultry portfolio with Tyson Pitmaster Chicken, “a new line of naturally hardwood smoked, fully cooked chicken products,” according to a press release sent to NACS.

According to the company, the Tyson Pitmaster Chicken line includes fully cooked thigh pieces and jumbo bone-in chicken wing sections and is available in “all-natural naturally smoked” and “naturally smoked sweet heat dry rub varieties.” Tyson said the Sweet Heat Dry Rub options feature a “sweet and spicy dry rub made from a blend of spices and herbs inspired by regional barbecue traditions.”

Tyson said the Pitmaster Chicken products are unsauced, allowing operators to serve them as is or customize them with their own signature sauces.

Meanwhile at Stewart’s Shops, the retailer launched its new Southern Style Chicken Biscuit Sandwich. “Served on a fluffy biscuit with a breaded southern style chicken breast and topped with creamy American cheese, the newest Stewart’s sandwich is perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner,” the retailer said. The new sandwich costs $4.99.
