7-Eleven Inc. restaurants are now offering catering at all locations through ezCater, “making it easier than ever to bring made-to-order food to meetings, office lunches and events,” a spokesperson for the company told NACS.
The company announced the following:
- Speedy Café: Offering breakfast sandwich boxes, 14-inch pizzas, lunch boxes and salads.
- Laredo Taco Company: Offering made-from-scratch Tex-Mex options—from taco bars and chips and queso to breakfast taco boxes—prepared daily in on-site kitchens.
7-Eleven said the offering positions the brand to better serve planned-ahead occasions, “complementing the brand’s strength in on-demand delivery through 7NOW.”
In other recent 7-Eleven foodservice news, the retailer recently rolled out new chicken items, including crispy chicken sandwiches, saucy wings and other handhelds. The lineup is available at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores.
The “chicken takeover” includes new items as well as deals exclusively for 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members, including:
- $4 Chicken Sandwich: A marinated and seasoned chicken breast fillet coated in garlic and savory-spiced breading, served on a toasted bun. Customers can grab two for $6.
- $4 Chicken & Waffle Sandwich: A sweet-and-savory option featuring a fried chicken filet topped with hot honey butter between Belgian-style waffles made with pearl sugar.
- $5 Meal Deal: A breakfast combo with a sandwich, waffle tots and a Monster energy drink.
- BOGO Boneless Wings: Buy one boat of the larger, crispier boneless wings for $5 and get another for $3.
According to Datassential, the number of limited-service chicken restaurants expanded by nearly 5% in 2024 and sales jumped almost 10%. A 2025 Technomic chain report found that chicken is the second-fastest-growing restaurant category behind beverage/snack chains.
