Veterans Day is Tuesday, November 11, and to celebrate Rutter’s is inviting all veterans and active-duty military personnel to enjoy a free coffee, cappuccino, fountain drink or slushy of any size at any Rutter’s location, the retailer told NACS.

“At Rutter’s, we believe in serving those who serve us,” said Ashley Donnelly, director of marketing. “It’s a small gesture of gratitude for those who have dedicated themselves to protecting our freedom. One cup at a time, we’re proud to say thank you.”

To receive the complimentary beverage, veterans and active-duty members need to show a valid military ID or arrive in uniform.

Over at 7-Eleven, the retailer is offering a special fuel discount to “community heroes.” Verified members can save 5 cents per gallon on fuel through ID.me. The retailer said the discount is stackable with everyday fuel deals, providing “even greater savings for those dedicated to serving communities.”

Sheetz said it “will show its respect and gratitude for veterans and active-duty military personnel by offering a free meal and car wash on Veterans Day.” Veterans and active-duty military personnel can receive a free half turkey sub and a regular size fountain drink with a military ID or proof of service.

Casey’s is currently running a round-up campaign benefiting Hope For The Warriors (HOPE) and Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. Through December 2, guests at 2,900 stores across Casey’s Country are invited to round-up at the register and donate at checkout in the Casey’s app, with the goal of raising $1.3 million, supported by a one-time $25,000 contribution from campaign partner PepsiCo.
