BP recently unveiled its first EV charging hub in Arizona. Located at a Petro Travel Center site in Eloy, the site is located off I-10 and features 16 ultrafast EV charging bays.
“Drivers can enjoy amenities at the Travel Center while charging, including a convenience store, restrooms, on-site diner and barber shop,” a spokesperson for BP told NACS. “This launch builds on BP Pulse’s plans to install EV charging hubs at Travel Centers of America (TA) and Petro locations across the US. These brands are part of the BP portfolio, with sites strategically located across key highway corridors allowing for enroute charging when and where drivers need it most.”
The company said it is also building its EV charging network across sites in BP’s portfolio of BP, Amoco, ampm and Thorntons locations, as well as new-to-industry sites and other destinations.
TravelCenters of America (TA) recently opened a new TA location in Pueblo, Colorado. “This location delivers on our commitment to comfort, convenience and care for guests and professional drivers. Visitors can enjoy a variety of dining options, spacious amenities and services designed to make every stop easier and more enjoyable,” TA said.
Amenities at the location include eight diesel lanes with DEF and 16 gasoline lanes, 210 truck parking spaces, showers, laundry facilities, a driver’s lounge and a pet area.
