Taco Bell announced the release of Coffee Chillers and Churro Chillers, the first-ever frozen coffee and shakes to hit the menu. The new menu items are currently being tested at two southern California locations beginning December 15 for a limited time.

According to a company press release, the chillers are inspired by authentic Mexican flavors and are a “fun and festive all-day pick-me-up with colorful swirls packed with flavor.” The company noted that the treats “complement any cheesy, spicy, crunchy craving at Taco Bell.”

“We’re always pushing the boundaries to deliver bold and craveable Mexican-inspired flavors our fans have come to expect from us, and these frozen drinks showcase how far our innovation goes,” said Taco Bell U.S. chief marketing officer, Taylor Montgomery. “We are constantly listening to what our fans are craving next, and we are thrilled to offer them a frozen creation that’s just as delicious and desirable as their favorite menu item.”

The Coffee Chiller is served in a 16-oz cup “that’s swirled with craveable flavor on the inside, filled with blended iced coffee and topped with a layer of cold foam,” and is available in Mexican chocolate, caramel churro and spiced vanilla.

The Churro Chillers are also served in a 16-oz cup, “filled with a blended sweet shake and topped with a layer of cold foam and churro crumbles” and is available in Mexican chocolate, dulce de leche coffee, wild strawberry and sweet vanilla.
