Chick-fil-A Launches Meal Kits
Next month, five different Mealtime Kits will be available in 150 Atlanta locations.

ATLANTA – Chick-fil-A is becoming the first quick-service restaurant to launch meal kits. Mealtime Kits are made up of fresh, preportioned ingredients and Chick-fil-A chicken to make cooking at home easier.
On August 27, 150 metro Atlanta Chick-fil-A restaurants will start selling the kits. Customers can purchase them for $15.89 in the drive-thru, at the counter or via the Chick-fil-A One app without subscribing or calling in advance. The trial period, which will test five chicken meal-kit recipes, will run through mid-November.
Made for two people and designed to be ready in 30 minutes, the initial meals include Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Enchiladas, Dijon Chicken, Pan Roasted Chicken and Chicken Flatbread. The antibiotic-free chicken is already trimmed and marinated, so the meals are simple and quick to prepare.
“We know our guests are busier than ever and need a variety of convenient dinner options,” said Michael Patrick, an innovation program lead at Chick-fil-A who is leading the Mealtime Kits effort. “We designed our offering so our guests don’t have to order ahead, subscribe to a service or make an extra stop at the grocery store. They simply pick up a Mealtime Kit at one of our restaurants at their convenience.”
Chick-fil-A is keeping it green by packaging the kits in 100% recyclable, compostable boxes without using freezer packs or insulated foam.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, “Chick-fil-A has launched a web page for Atlanta-area customers to tell the company where they would like the meal kits to be available.” Customers outside the Atlanta area can enter a ZIP code to let Chick-fil-A know where they’d like the meal kits to be tested next.
