Impact 21’s President Lisa Stewart to be Inducted to the Conexxus Hall of Fame

During the Conexxus Annual Conference later this month, Stewart will be honored for many years of commitment to industry standards and process improvements.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Conexxusa nonprofit, member-driven technology organization that is committed to the development and implementation of standards, technologies innovation, and advocacy for the convenience store and petroleum marketannounces the induction of Lisa Stewart, President & Co-Owner of Impact 21, to the Conexxus Hall of Fame for 2018.

“Lisa has devoted so much of her career to benefitting the industry’s evolution to management excellence,” said Gray Taylor, executive director of Conexxus. “I have worked with Lisa for literally decades, and found no other person more focused on the operational excellence of our industry.”

Among many nominees, Stewart’s years of guidance and service to the industry made her the standout candidate for this honor. The Conexxus Nomination Committee commends Stewart for exemplifying the long-term vision and dedication of the Conexxus mission, both personally and through her work with Impact 21. Stewart commented, “This is such an honor to be added to the Conexxus Hall of Fame along with other great colleagues who have shared my passion for driving standards forward in our industry.” 

As the convenience industry realized that traditional grocery EDI processes did not fit and other standards were missing, Lisa and other leaders, gathered to craft a direction to move the convenience industry forward.  As the movement advanced, this team spent countless hours for the benefit of the industry. As Lisa moved forward with her business partner to open their own consultancy, she remained steadfastly dedicated to the effort.

Today, Impact 21 continues to dedicate several resources annually to the Conexxus standards effort. “I appreciate the incredible support I have received from my business partner, Lesley Saitta, and commitment from our Impact 21 team as they also support Conexxus and NACS in driving industry best practices” added Stewart.

With over 27 years of practical and technical experience in the petroleum, convenience and retail industries, Stewart is a perfect fit in the Conexxus Hall of Fame. As President of Impact 21, she has been focused on working with retailers, suppliers, manufacturers, and solution providers on building business infrastructure and leveraging returns on investment for corporate and store level technologies. Stewart upholds strict adherence to industry standards and is continuously seeking ways to improve current processes.
